Pasta Bolognese

- 1 Medium Brown Onion
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 lb Ground Beef, Extra Lean
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Ground Oregano
- 1 tsp Rosemary, Dried
- Pinch of Salt if needed
- 3 Large Mushrooms
- 1 Red Bell Pepper
- 2 Carrots, Grated
- 8 oz Can Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 14 oz Penne Pasta, Cooked
Instructions
- Peel and chop the onion and garlic, then fry in olive oil for around 3-5 minutes in a medium/large non-stick pan.
- Add the ground beef. Break apart the beef and cook until browned. Drain. Season well with black pepper, oregano, and rosemary.
- Chop the mushrooms and red pepper. Peel and grate the carrots. Transfer the veggies to the pan and mix well.
- Add the tomato and Worcestershire sauce. Cook on low for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Serve over cooked penne pasta.
